If you are one of the brave ones living with persistent pain or another chronic illness, you already know how challenging it can be to manage the day to day. Add in extra stressors like finding appropriate work, navigating interpersonal relationships and balancing your own self-care with family obligations and life can easily become overwhelming. This is where I can help.
Because pain lives with us, we rarely get a break from it. Disrupted sleep, easily flared emotions, frustration, anger, depression, anxiety, difficulties with relationships, the sense that others don't understand...all of these factors can easily encourage us to take on a less positive view of ourselves. As someone who both lives with and works alongside others with persistent pain, I know how debilitating this can feel.
I am a Somatic Experiencing-informed Counsellor, as well as a Clinical Pilates instructor. Sessions are designed to help you:
